Located in Antica Greenwoods scheme at the newly developing Sevasi road in Vadodara, this project demanded a reasonable amount of architectural changes to the house plans provided by the scheme along with its complete interiors makeover. With the design sensibilities shifting from modernist aesthetics (which seemed devoid of ornamentation) to post modern aesthetics, this house makes an effort to articulate and ornament elements of the house. However it has turned to be an interesting fusion of the two styles. Apart from all, This house exemplifies the difference in requirements of the client and what they are provided with in such a trade where all houses are uniformly designed in a gated community living. This is also a topic of great debate in the architectural profession today.
