This home designed in Edmonton Canada.Working on this home gave me an opportunity to learn more about the designs of residential homes in canada. After closely studying the plans for months, we submitted our required plan to the builder. The design was such that it would sit with the guidelinesof the community and the developer yet be uniquely tailored to the family’s needs. This experience gave me the avenue to study the various aspects of residentail projects here in Alberta. The construction materials + technique and the in-fluence of lifestyle on the planning of the house were key aspects that caught my focus.
A Quiet Urban Retreat – a home close to nature

The living room is conceived as the social heart of the home, designed to support gathering, relaxation, and everyday routines. Proportions, natural light, and views are carefully balanced to create a space that feels open yet grounded. Material continuity and spatial flow allow the room to adapt seamlessly to different moments throughout the day.

The kitchen is planned as a functional and social workspace, integrating efficiency with openness. Clear circulation, generous work surfaces, and visual connections to adjacent spaces encourage interaction and ease of use.
